Incorporating Eccde/ Day Care Canters Within Tvets in Informal Settlements to Allow Safety and Better Child Development as Young Mothers’ Access Education and Skills

The main aim of this paper is to propose policy reforms to enhance better childhood development and safety for vulnerable children in informal settlements whose mothers are furthering their education in TVETS. Desktop review of existing policies and commitments. Consultative stakeholders’ workshops and review with young mothers. Analysis of OAY’s adolescents’ wellbeing project reports for Kisumu and Nairobi.
